The doors hang from a track set into the head and are guided at the floor, so nothing stands proud of the carpet and there is no bottom channel to collect dust. Carrying the weight at the head is what keeps the doors aligned and running true.
The trade-off is worth stating plainly: one door always sits in front of another, so you see about half the interior at a time. We plan the inside around that — what you reach for daily in the halves you open first, the rest behind.
